Light: Will tolerate low-light situations but thrive in medium to bright indirect light! Do not put in direct sun as this will scorch the leaves. These plants grow on the forest floor and receive filtered light through the trees leaves! Low light situations will cause your plant to become leggy and possibly lose its variegations/markings. 

Water: Leaves will become droopy when it needs water asap! Water your plant once it is more than 50%-75% dry, enough until water runs out of the drainage holes in the bottom of your pot. Avoid over watering to prevent root rot and yellowing leaves. If your plant feels light when you pick it up this is a good sign it is ready to be watered. 

Soil: These plants prefer an airy and light, well draining soil mixture. Include substrates such as orchid bark, coarse perlite, pumice and coco coir into your soil!

Fertilizing: Apply once a month during the growing season, spring & summer. Your plant will go through a dormant period in the winter and does not need fertilizer. Also less watering is needed during this time. Reapply fertilizer in the spring at the first sign of new growth!!

Temperature: The epipremnum and scindapsus prefer warm temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. The warmer the temperature the faster your soil will dry out, the cooler the temperature the more stunted growth your plant will produce.

Humidity: The plants can tolerate average household humidity but thrive best in a 50%-60% humidity level range! They can even tolerate upwards of 75% humidity. Create a humid environment by misting the plant, using a pebble tray or a humidifier or grouping plants together. To read the levels in your home, be sure to invest in a hygrometer! 

Pet Friendly(Toxic): Most plants are toxic if ingested. Will cause irritation to the mouth and stomach and can cause vomiting.
